We had a wonderfull time at this hotel, i had my birthday while there, and got a realy nice surprise of cake and flowers brought to my room, been all over the world but never had a birthday surprise , it made my day that bit extra special, the room was great the staff were so friendly always willing to help at any time. I cannot find any fault at all with this hotel and would difinately stay there again. I would also have no hesitation recomending this hotel to friends and familly. Looking forward to returning. 10/10. Also the breakfast was realy good, was pleasently surprised with the choice.

The hotel is ideally located literally a stones throw away from the beach. It is on the quiet end of the hustle and bustle of Patong beach, but within walking distance from the beach. One never feels quite out, but can also get away from the noise that can at times make it difficult to get an afternoon snooze before heading out for the nightlife. There is the pool with a great view of the sea and if lucky enough, can wake up to the same view during course of your stay at the hotel. There is a great entertainment area that offers an array of books, and satellite television. The selection of television channels is however very limited, but this means that one gets to really spend more time outdoors. While one does not spend much time watching television, the variety of channels available in the rooms could be a bit more. The rooms were great - clean, however, I did not like the fact I had to sleep on two single beds pushed together. It was very clear the beds had been pushed together, especially as the beds were not quite equal. While the single beds are great when catering for two people sharing, this was one of my least favorite things about the hotel.
Overall the stay was pleasant. The staff is very friendly, especially reception staff who always had a smile even when dealing with unpleasant guests. Twice i witnessed the guests being rude to the staff, who remained calm and were pleasant in manner. Especially enjoyed my dealings with the front office manager, Wanida Yaifay, who was really nice and made some recommendations about places to go and things to do - she is really funny too.
Great hotel, would definitely stay at the hotel again.

My friends and I arrived at Seaview Patong on 24 December 2010.
We were warmly welcomed with smiles and sent to our room, which was a bit small for three adults, but we were given the option of a free transfer to their sister hotel Andaman Sea in Karon (with a bigger and better room), which we accepted after having stayed a night or two. During our stay at Seaview, we experienced wonderful service and food. The compulsory Christmas gala dinner was also fun and we thoroughly enjoyed the New Year's dinner.
After a few days at Andaman Sea we phoned Seaview Patong to ask if we could return for the remainder of our stay. Our request was granted and we were even upgraded to a deluxe room at no extra charge. Our reason for returning to Seaview was it's proximity to Patong Town, but we had also fallen in love with the front office manager, Wanida Yaifay, who had dealt with our tranfers between the hotels and who had been at our beck and call, and always with a smile. She was so helpful, acommodating and friendly and really made our stay so pleasurable. She's professional, incredibly efficient and an asset to this hotel. (She is also cute as a button :) )
The staff at Seaview were all great; the effort they put into making us comfortable and entertained was amazing. We did experience some problems with the language barrier, but we expected that and those staff members who did struggle to understand us simply apologised with a smile and found another staff member who could better understand English. It really wasn't an issue and on the whole, the majority of the staff spoke and understood English well enough.
Other things we enjoyed about the hotel included affordability and close proximity to Patong Town. Seaview is situated towards the end of the beach road where it is peaceful and quiet, but it is close enough to walk to Patong Town - we walked to town every day and it didn't even take 10 minutes. There was no need to spend any money on tuk tuks to get to the shops. The hotel itself is also very clean and tidy - they even sweep the grass.
In short, we felt like there was nothing the staff would not do to please us and we felt so special.
We LOVE this hotel and will definitely be staying there again.

Me and my boyfriend arrived at this hotel after a long haul flight. We were made to feel very welcome. We loved the look of the hotel straight away.
The room was very clean and romantic.
The hotel was quiet which was great for us (couples). The staff are more than friendly and very, very helpful. They greet you with a smile everytime you see them.
Not a single bad word to say about this hotel.
CANT WAIT TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.
Thanks for a lovely stay x

Our stay at the Seaview was over 3 nights and I cannot find one bad thing to say about the place. The rooms were clean and comfortable and made up on a daily basis (unless requested not to). It is at the end of the main 'madness' road in Patong so roughly 10-15 minute walk into the beginning of the 'tuktuk madamm' and 'dvd's madam' madness. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was great. Two large pool areas are within the complex with the beach across the road (unsure if it's safe to swim in). Our stay was an enjoyable one and I would definately recommend the hotel.
